Although all of these wonderful inventions have helped the human race to become what we are today (although arguably that isn’t a good thing) those large washing machines, trains, planes and other machines seem to have caused a fair few accidents over the years.
The washing machine is a surprising one on this list as although it helps millions with the housework it has become something to be feared of for many people. There have been so many times in which a cat or dog has managed to find its way into the machine, then of course it gets switched on and the inevitable happens.
When the washing machine starts to fill up the animal will then drown. Some have been found afterwards to be fine though. The same can actually happen to small children as they sometimes think it is funny to crawl inside of them. Of course there are some people that just do it for a laugh and do not realise that it is going to drown them. The best thing to do is not let your kids near that commercial washing machine or any commercial laundry equipment while you are using it.
When it comes to machines, trasnport can be another big killer. Plane crashes are very rare indeed with only 1 in 9 million suffering a death.
However when it comes to the automobile the figure is not so low. Just over 17 million people have died altogether from car crashes. This is actually the entite population of Ireland being killed nearly three times.
When it comes to trains it is suicide that provides the most deaths rather than the train crashing iself which is actually not surprising.
Many of these machines have been used to help people rather than annoy them but many people have also died because of them.
