Motorola To Launch A New Handset The Increase of Artificial Intelligence Programming
Dec 26

As the winter and the rain and snow season approaches for most people it is time to think about your roof. The roof is really an essential part of your home that everybody can’t live without.  But it is the part of the home most people overlook. The time that people do eventually take notice is when it finally needs repairs or has to be replaced. But with winter quickly coming it wouldn’t be wise for people to wait for that.So here are a few things you can do to check to make sure your roof isn’t leaking.

The first thing you have to be able to know is whether the spot was caused by condensation or a leak.  We get calls all the time for my San Diego roofing company for people who think they have a leak.  But when we get to the house we find out it isn’t a leak but a condensation stain.  The easy way to tell is condensation is it doesn’t have a design. Now when it really is a leak it will create a circular shape. So if the spot you find is circular in shape that is a sign that it is a leak.

The next thing you want to do is check weak spots on the roof.  Places like by chimneys are a known weak spot and it tends to leak there.  In our roofing Oceanside service we always check those areas because it is so common that it leaks there. It is a fix that is really easy to do because all you have to do is seal that area.

Last thing you want to do is look at the areas that have been penetrated by a nail.A lot of times the people who put the roof in when they are nailing it in, those very nail spots aren’t sealed.  This is the cause of leaks that we find in my Rancho Bernardo roofing service.  This is also a very easy fix by just finding the spot then sealing it.

So those are some of the methods you can use to be sure you don’t have any roof leaks this coming winter.
